I have regular, year round opportunities to shore fish the north coast of Oregon. I'm curious about Surf Perch and any other shore fisheries. Frankly, I'm looking for something to do as much as anything. Is it possible to catch shore fish in Oregon year round?
I'll admit, I haven't looked at the regs regarding limits and seasons.
What kind of gear and bait is preferred? Any local spots around Seaside that have good fishing at "off" times of year? Are waders really a requirement? It is cold here in winter so I'd prefer to just stay out of the water.
