What's the Largest Sport Fish you've Caught, and What Type?

Unfortunately I do not have much chance for sport fishing here in North Wales. The largest game fish you can catch is probably the tope (a medium-sized member of the shark family) then you're down to monkfish, moray eels and rays.

I had the chance to go after large barracuda in Ghana a couple of years ago, but nothing since. All the really big sport and game fish are too far away from here!

So, which species have you caught, which are the best fighters and which was the biggest one?

The largest sport fish I caught was a four and a half foot "Leopard " shark. It gave a pretty good fight but it wasn't meant to be for the shark. Incidently, the shark steaks grilled over "kiawe" wood charcoal were unbelievable delicious.
